Admissions
At the Minds in Motion Academy the admissions process begins with the receipt of the completed application packet and non-refundable application-processing fee of $100.00 by March 30th. We will accept additional applications up until July 1 if classes have not received maximum capacity. We request the most current transcripts, evaluations, report cards, and any progress reports as part of the admissions review. (See attached checklist for required items) Once your application is complete, received and reviewed we will invite you and your child to visit the Minds in Motion Academy for an informal visit. Admissions decisions will be made by June 1 and will be notified in writing and by our director if your child has been accepted to the Minds in Motion Academy. The Minds in Motion Academy admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students of the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and or ethnic origin in its admissions.
ACCEPTANCE CONTRACT
Upon acceptance to The Minds in Motion Academy, you will receive an annual contract. This contract must be signed and received by The Minds in Motion Academy within 14 days of invitation, along with a non-refundable enrollment deposit. This deposit reserves your child’s place at the Academy. The enrollment deposit is 10% of total annual tuition in the amount of $2,650.00. Upon receipt of the contract and deposit, a Sensory Motor Integration and Educational intake evaluation will be scheduled. This will assist staff in developing the student’s individual learning profile.
TUITION
Tuition for the Minds in Motion Academy is $26,500 yearly.
Transportation to and from the Tysons Corner area will be available for an additional fee.
