Movement is the most basic form of expression and is the key to anchoring learning processes in many children with learning differences. Our spacious 20,000 square foot facility promotes a total body learning experience throughout our academic day.  The gymnasium set-up is designed to create a nuturing environment for children, while empowering cognitive, visual spatial, auditory motor, physical, fine motor and social skills.  The sensory motor integration approach involves various multi-sensory experiences to help the child make better sense of his world and his surroundings.  This approach allows for arousal level, stimulation and motivation to play a vital role in physical and emotional regulation.  Our therapists and teachers are trained to help the students maintain a balance in their learning pace to minimize frustration and to allow more natural learning to occur.  By addressing sensory regulation needs and providing specialized movement our students remain alert, focused, and ready to learn.  Sensory regulation, coupled with a successful academic program, encourages our students to become self-motivated, confident and capable beings.
